I thought this thread was dead but since you persist.I don't know about the foil deal but I've been making fast meals for years. From freezer to boiling water to table.Set your vcr to one of those sucker sales channels and record all night.Edit tape and find the one about vacuum sealing.Get all the info. And go to your local large Sports store or Sams store and buy the thing.Be sure it's the one that's crushes 3 can cause you don't want a wimp. Now when you prepare a meal always double it. And divide into meals and freeze it, in those vacuum bags. Why am I writing this?Must be my craving for pickles and ice cream:>) When I was in the Army and we were out in the field, we got C rations or was it K rations? Well any way, you got a box with the following,1 can main coure,1 sm can of p butter, pack of crackers.sm roll of tp.pack of 4 cigarettes. and a P38(can opener)I always got the good stuff, beaniewennies, ham and macaroni, cornbeef hash or speagetti and meat balls. Now if you want it hot, you had to put it into a big pot of boiling water. Now this is where the master chief takes over. The guy was amazing. He would sweat over the ordeal and stir and knew the precise time to remove those cans of gourmet delite. Now the moment of truth. What would I get? You guessed it, green eggs and ham.Oh well got to eat.Whipped out the P38 and had a feast. We had a lot of snake eaters in our unit, they would just rip the top off with their teeth. Mean guys, glad they were on our side.As for me the next time, I'm going to eat it cold.Ok I know I ripped you guys off.Pls see my complaint dept.I'm only filling in for GM,Joel and lets Mate our van's Roy O.:<) Marcus
