Well, I hope it is the wiring, but I sorta doubt it. I've had the instrument pod off several times now. Also, if the wiring was suspect, I'd expect the guage to read empty not full (normal non-powered state is in the empty position.) I'd be happy to be proven wrong on this.

Yah, I figured I would have to remove the wheel. I just wanted to make sure it was a possibility prior to starting the work.
