I am currently using 14"x7" chrome steel rims w/ 23mm offset running BFG 27"x8.5" tires -- PLENTY of room all around. I stringly suspect 8" rims (w/ 19mm offset?) would be no problem running up to a 29"x9.5" tire. BTW, Projekztwo offers 9" rims -- but they MAY need flares...
