Kit - Thanks for the quick advice. The Idle Stabilizer, apparently, was the culprit. Wish I had just put the connectors together for the trip to FL, would have saved about 300+ extra start cycles on the new starter I put in last year & much anxiety!

Gone are the "burping" and "hiccuping" at 2500rpm & less and the sudden shut-off at idle. In fact, what "stabilization" does this $165.00 gizmo perform? The idle is steady, now, without it.

Now, on the A/C hoses.
