$32965 for a VR6 EV??? And where is the glove compartment?? And please, no more daytime running lights!!! Sadly to say, VW has done it again!!! Just stopped by our local VW dealer today and checked out the new VR6 EV. I asked the sales manager why the new VR6 EV is so expensive? He replied: 'That's why I've only ordered one!' While I was visiting in Taiwan, they have the new EV (2.3 5-cylinder) assembled locally. The price range is equivalent to US. $18.2K to $26.4K. And the average car price in Taiwan is at least 50% higher than in US. I wonder if I can import one from there...
