In the Eurovan, the Norcold 3163 fan won't EVER come on in 110 VAC mode -- the circuit design prevents the fan from receiving any "juice" in 110 VAC mode. Perhaps this is to prevent the battery from draining down, who knows? I modified my fridge wiring to allow the fan to come on IN ANY MODE, a simple modification that took all of three minutes.

I'm not sure Dometic fridges have this "feature" or not.
