Two days ago, driving over a mountain pass, "Thor" suddenly sounded as if the whole exhaust system had fallen off. I found to my dismay the Exhaust manifold on cylinders 1 &3 had completely sheered in two about 3" from where it bolts to the engine on the front passenger-side cylinder. NO visual clues as to why it broke, the surface looks identical thoughout the whole system, but for some reason an internal weakness in this section failed. Anyone ever had this? I am afraid the next one might to the samething due to something that I am just not seeing! Any clues would be appreciated.

As a result I am looking to buy a used (possibly new aftermarket, if it exists) Manifold, Syncro keep in mind, that will last me a few thousand miles. This is my daily driver and I am in dire straits. Any help would be appreciated Leif Paulsen
