two suggestions, when you come into or leave Yellowstone, travel towards (or from) Red Lodge and Billings and take the Beartooth Highway. Spectacular views standard, good brakes recommended.

Also, take a drive north from Missoula, through the Flathead Valley, around Flathead Lake (either side) and go through and camp at Glacier National Park.

Also, if you like to see wild animals outside of a zoo, give yourself 3-4 hours and drive through the National Bison Range in Moiese (Mo-ee-see) just off Hwy. 93 between Missoula and Polson.

When are you going to be in Yellowstone? My wife and I were planning on bus-camping there on Labor Day weekend. Anyone else feel like coming?
