There's so much good fishing in Montana, I don't know where to start! I've fished in the area between Bozeman/Livingston and Yellowstone park. You could go out with a guide in a drift boat and float and fish down the Yellowstone or Gallatin or Madison rivers. It's a nice relaxed way to spend a day, but it doesn't come cheap. (I'm think it was about $150 for the whole thing.) You could fish the famous spring creeks (DePuy's, Armstrong, and one other than I forgot the name of) for about $50 a day. That's expensive, I know, but it's world class fishing in a beautiful setting. If you want a guide or just want to know some good places to fish, you can enquire in any of the local fly shops and I'm sure they'll help. Of course, there is plenty of fishing within Yellowstone itself, but note that you need a special license to fish in the park.

Have a great time! Wish I were going!!
