I want to extend a BIG Thank you to each and every one of you who helped me cool my EV down. My husband opened up that black box by the headlight and sure 'nuf the metal fuses were both cracked. The resistors still look pretty good - nice and green - so I think we got off very lucky. We dorve down to Randolph VT today to pick up our daughter from Women in Technology camp, about a 3 hour trip there and back and the needle stayed nice and cool : )! BTW - she came home the now resident family expert in html code and website design. She has her own site that talks about our local legend of the lake "Champ". Now I think she needs to go to VW camp and come back ready to work on these unpredictable cars.

Anyway, Thanks again and it's off to Ithaca with the three munchkihns after all : ).

Cyndi
