My 2 VW fire experiences were both my fault; I left the air cleaner off a misbehaving VW carb, and another when the coil wire smoked after being directly hooked to the battery. Again I ask WUTZ-UP with all the VW fires? Are the fires gas / oil or electrical in nature? >>
