************************************************ Hey, Terry! Your e-mail address: tbuchana@XYLAN.COM is rejecting e-mail (as spam) *************************************************

This '91 Carat sounds VERY fishy to me, Terry.

I just bought a 1984 Vanagon Camper (Westfalia) in which EVERYTHING works, nothing really rattles, and the interior is in great shape with only minor wear. Keep in mind that this van has 122,000 miles on it and was used for camping! The previous owner had 100% of the service records, so I could tell EXACTLY what had been done and when. (I paid $6,000 even, by the way)

You can get a ballpark reality-check of prices (trade-in and retail) at the Kelly Blue Book website (www.kbb.com I think).

In my humble opinion: KEEP LOOKING; This doesn't sound all that great to me.

Marty Wallace ('84 Vanagon w/122k miles, '83 Subaru w/179k miles) Chico, California
