Several cars are running with Xenon low beams, such as Audis new A6, BMW 5's and 7's, Mercedes E-class(optional), Opel Omega, and VW Passat(optional) The requirements for running with these low beams is that the car must have auto height adjusting headlights. The Xenon light is not a bulb, it is an arc produced by a special coil producing 24000 volts! The light itself only draws 35 watts, though. Hella has a set of high beams for aftermarket mounting, that is powered by Xenon. They are called the Luminator. They have awfully much brightness:-) but the price is terrible. A bit over $1000 a piece! They really are bright as day!
