Without being slanderous, I wanted to forewarn any other listees in the Washington D.C. area of the less-than-professional service my wife and I also received at Buggy Barn. They are nuts. We have been sold wrong parts, (with the insistance "Oh, they'll work fine") and had pieces of our van "lost" while in their care. I wouldn't trust them to fix the bell on my bicycle.

If you want GREAT VW restoration, ACE German Auto in Woodbridge. It will take time, as they are craftsman. the end result will be perfect. If you are looking for GREAT everyday vanagon repair, Paul's Auto in Annandale. They work on Vanagons and Type II's almost exclusively, and have done so since the 70's (maybe 60's??). Buggy Barn is a NO-No in my book.

that's all for now,
