David Bogle would like to know if:

<< It appears from all the postings and ads regarding syncros that many need their drivetrains rebuilt around the 100K mark......>>

While the 091 gearboxes have their strong points they did have their weak areas from the factory as well. By now most of the trouble spots have been found out and the replacement parts are modified/updated to help with durablility and increased lifespan.

<<Are the CVs, differentials and heads going to need replacement/rebuilds in the next 10K, 25K, 50K? Could it last forever?>>

Difficult to say- the crystal ball is cloudy today! As a very general rule of thumb if it is orginal factory untouched then about 100K in my experience is about the normal life span of a Syncro transaxle. Vague enough?? ;)
