Hi all,


Talked with another dealer today. He told me that he has a '90 or '91
Multivan with autotrans and 152,000 miles on it . He "was" asking about
about $16,500 for it. That is until he found out that I knew what I was
talking about, and that the inherent problem with Vangons at around
100,000 mile mark with it's heads had not been fixed yet. Then he said
he was more that willing to negotiate. I told him I'd have to confer
with my Vanagon experts, (i.e. "the" list members ;) ), before I could
make a ballpark estimate to offer him.


Do I hear a bid? Going once... going twice.... SOLD to the man in the
fuzzy purple dress!
