I've used one for about 2 years. They are OK in their ability to cool, really not able to cool very quickly. They do run down the battery if left plugged in overnight, but I just switch to AC (an acessory you'll have to buy extra). They seem trouble free. I think you might find a better buy on "factory repaired" from Damark or some similar place.
