Greetings and salutations; Thought I would share a fix I found. Our 85 started poor idling on the way home from a 1000 mile trip. As I suspected the Auxiliary Air Regulator was not passing sufficient air when cold. I removed a small nut on the body and found it's bolt in a slotted hole providing some adjustment to the air flow volume. This provided proper idle speed.
