I have a 1985 Westy with the A/C unit in the rear. Today my mechanic checked the temperature of the air coming out of the vent and told me that it was about 60 degrees. This is after I have spent close to $1000 at the dealership to get the thing completely fixed -about a month ago. This included a new evaporator-the last one in the US-and a recharge. My mechanic seems to thing this is about as cold as it is going to get. My question is: Is this reasonable? What would be a reasonable temperature? What can be done to decrease the temperature that does not cost a fortune? TIA, John P. Plano, TX 85 Westy-Bastet |
