If your vehicle came from the factory with windows tinted they will inspect it. If they see you added window tint, they fail your vehicle. So my only choice is to replace the windows. Anyway I work with a guy that has a new jeep, and you can fell the difference in the temp. the new glass makes. I don't think it would be that expensive. I've replaced window before and it's not that hard. My only concern, is taking apart the side sliding window frame. I plain on leaving the front of the Van windows alone. Check out the new mini Vans, there rear windows are real dark. This is all because of the new freon (r134a), not being able to do the job as well.
