So I'm giving my engine the once over looking for any signs of trouble and I notice that the flat copper ground strap running from near the coil to the engine block has 2 green areas on it. So I reach in there and give it a little wiggle and it just disintegrates into powder.. both spots just fall apart...... Now there's an excellent reason to check out your connections... if I had been back in the bush on some rainy day and it just fell apart... I might have been trying to figure what the heck had happened?... but in the comfort of my yard... I just made up a replacement... cleaned all the connections, put some dielectric grease on all the contact areas... and Bob's your uncle.

Next... I remember someone saying their speedo was making noises and they put WD-40 on it.... Bingo!!... mine has been doing it for awhile also, one shot in the hole on the plastic clip of the cable at the back of the gauge and all's quite on the Syncro dash..... still working on that dif. lock light... oh well... always something to keep the compulsive occupied.
