Feels like a kick in the gut, like when someone you respect says you don't get it and walks away. The people who flamed Bob Hoover don't get it. Knowledge is a gift to be recieved with gratitude, the more so when it is given freely. This is my first post to the list, I don't currently own a Vanagon, I'm restoring a type 2 baywindow, but I like all things Volks so I lurk and learn. I don't know Bob Hoover, but after owning a motorcycle dealership for ten years, I know a lot of people like him and the common thread is that they don't suffer fools lightly, if you can't bother to listen, they can't be bothered to teach. A resource and a gift have been lost. Thanks for letting me vent Chuck 70 Westy
