Subject: 85 VanagonGL price?
Comments: To: Vanagon@VANAGON.COM

Hey all,

Had to unsubscribe due to illness. Now re-subscribed due to illness. Had tibial plateau surgery after tripping over my husband (who has a brain tumor) in a Wal-Mart parking lot running from a tornado. Now I can't drive my stickshift 85 Vanagon GL. And probably never. Jack can't drive at all. We need transportation now, so I have to sell my beloved vanagon. But for how much?

1985 Vanagon GL. Re-built engine January 98. "New" used transmission March 98. It's white, has AC, some rust spots, body not perfect but okay.

Sigh. I know there's no way to get back what we've put into it or any way to receive compensation for the loss we'll experience, but what price can we ask for?

Thanks so much. Jill
