Hi all,

After years of lusting after a Vanagon in my heart, I am finally going to get to take one on a trip!! Every couple of years I have phoned all the RV dealers in my area and found that there are _never_ any VW pop-up buses for rent. This year thanks to the internet, some guy at the Bus Depot who told me about vanagon.com, an unknown one-way tripper and California Campers, the stars have aligned and there is a 1985 Vanagon waiting for me and my husband in Washington, DC!! How's that for incredible?!

We'll be taking it from Maryland to Maine for an eight day jaunt. My husband is 6'1", is there any advice that will help him enjoy the cozy quarters? Any other advice for us newbies?

Carole
