Hi, After a week of calling VWOA and my local dealer for more info on those brackets to repair for those pesky (3) bolt holes on the (2) side of that heavy evap on the 87 and prior vanagons here's what I found out. Nothing, Zilch, Zero. No one knew what I was talking about. I showed the dealer all the notes I had taken from all you folks (thanks for the help:) . The dealer looked up tech advisories and the such. No joy.

If anyone has part# or the phone# of the dealer who helped them please E-MAIL me and or call COASTAL AUTOHAUS (my VW dealer here in Corpus Christi, TX.) at (512) 991-5555 and ask for Dan McCanlies.

Trying not to beat a dead horse, Kurt Thomas 87 syncro 98 caravan (I wished vw imported a real van) 91 honda CBR1000 (so I can go fast and take the curves) Thanks everyone for the great support
