I know how you feel, I was looking for a Passat Wagon when I found my Vanagon. Since the Vanagon was such a surprise (in price, size, manuverability, style...YES, STYLE) and I hadn't been able to find any Passat wagons, I bought the Vanagon. The week after I bought the Vanagon, BAM! Three wagons appear on local lots.

I haven't regretted this situation...I just know how you feel.
