Dan and I are both voracious readers. We read in the evening lying down on the lower bunk. I've attached a gooseneck halogen light to the rear of the rear closet, so that I can bend it down and over the two of us. It provides ample light to read for two, and can be easily bent to adjust the light from side to side.

You may consider installing one of these gooselights on the pillar near the rear seat, or near the passenger seat.
