Being Quite a basshead(in addition to a syncromaniac), I've come to the point that stock speakers "never" cut it. In my Syncro camper, I have a Boston Acoustics Compo set in the doors(5,25" + 1") with the tweeter in the dash, a pair of BA coaxials in a "wall" under the rear seat, a Macrom compo set (4" + 1") in the roof mounted cabinet and being a daily driver, I've put away the rear matress in favor of a pair of BA RS12 subwoofers. All this is powered by a Phoenix Gold M50 on the subs, and a Macrom 44.13 (4x30w RMS 12v) for the mids and highs. The head unit is an Alpine cd/RDS. This is plenty of sound in this vehicle, and I just love to see people staring when they see what kind of car that is playing.

P.S. I had all of this save the Macrom compos in my 73 squareback earlier, and that was awsome!
