Our local auto parts store Kragen sells a liquid in a spray bottle for "deTinting" I don't know what it is.. almost like alcohol mixed with some soap stuff..(I put it in my spectrometer in my copious free time!) .. but it works for me.. the film lifted right off. If you local auto part store carry window tint films, ask them if they have the detinting concoction.

Between the glass and the film. Is there an trick to getting this film off without damaging the defroster? Also, if your existing film is only slightly scratched, can you just put the new film over the old?

THanks
