With all this talk about refrigerators lately it gave me the incentive to remove mine for cleaning and fan replacement. The fridge came out in less then an hour, a very easy process thanks to information provided by this list. I'll soon find out how easy or difficult it is to reinstall the fridge.

My question is how do I clean the combustion chamber? I have not yet opened the combustion chamber, it looks like six screws hold it together. Is opening it as simple as removing these six screws? Can I reuse the red rubber gasket? From the outside this gasket looks very good. Once open do I just blow out the chamber with shop air, or is it more complicated? Are there any symptoms I should look for in the combustion chamber once I have it open?

Thanks in advance for any input.
