You must be at East.  $3K for a 70K Vanagon?
I checked the Wolfsburg fiberglass bumpers at VW dealer when I wracked my
rear chrome bumper back to '88.  I remember with all brackets and side
pieces it will cost me like $2K!!!  Of course I withdrew that "great"
idea...

 i have an 87 gl vanagon that i bought a
few weeks ago. it's in reallly great shape,
70,000 mi, everything works(minus rear
wiper/power mirrors) all for $3,000!!! right,
back to the question, it came with stock chrome
bumpers that have kissed a few others. i want to
replace them with something more along the lines
of a "wolfsburg/carat" type bumper with the
spoiler etc. any advice on doing so? too costly?
won't work? i think it would be a nice upgrade
and it looks so darn neat! let me know what the
collective brain thinks. also, anyone selling
alloy wheels for the 87? hub caps?(vw only, no
autozone fakies please)
