I order a new Skylight to replace my original (leakier) I got the new one from Trevor Reid (AKA the Skylight Guy) website at: http://members.home.net/skylight/

and I'm real pleased with it, for starters it thicker Plexi, and on the old one, it was cracked all around where the bend is... the old one came up about 1/4 inch short of plastic where the two pieces are glued together... and that's where it was all cracked.. the new one from Trevor, comes up snug where the two halves are glued together and the Plexi is thicker on both parts.. I got a med. tinted one (smoky-copper) wasn't that hard to install... just had to re & re all the old fittings, clean off the caulking... and while I was at it, one of the plastic bushing on the end of one lifting arm had broken (due to sun damage) so I knocked off the other (it was just waiting to go) and then I used 2 lock washers (straighten them out with some pliers and opened them up a little) I pressed one on each arm... a little 5 min epoxy and they look good and should out last any plastic. Some silicone caulking on all the outside fittings and Bob's your Uncle. Looks much better... Now I'm waiting for it to rain... they are calling for thunderstorms in a few hours... I'll let ya know how it goes.
