Bud Writes: >>>>>>> Date: Thu, 20 Aug 1998 00:26:40 -0400 From: Budding Rose <ROSEBUD99@WEBTV.NET> Subject I've gone over everything on my Westy and it reallr looks great. When I tried to put the lower grill back on I dicovered that the little expansion fasteners had been misplaced by the guys in the paint shop-- I cant get them from the dealer' anyone have any used ones ,or are they available somewhere --Ron would know -at least I think he would. Anyone else? There has to be some around someplace-- Help! ! TIA Bud Yandell <<<<<

Hey Bud!

My grill has about half real VW/Audi clips and about half are just common license plate mounting clips. They look about the same, work the same. Places like Pep Boys (Will they ever grow up and become Pep Men?) have a dozen slightly different styles. Just find one that hooks the grill from the front and doesn't pull through. If you can't find one big enough just use a smaller one and then use a flat washer under the screw head big enough to hook the grill. This should keep your plastic from flying off into space.

Good luck!

Carl Turner
