Well all, the time has come. I am making the move from Eugene, OR to Charleston, SC. My fiance and I have sold everything that won't fit into her Jetta and my 87' Vanagon Syncro, and on Wednesday of next week, we will be driving across the US.

We will head up through Spokane, WA through Idaho into Glacier Natl - Then down through Montana and Idaho into Jackson, Wyoming. From there, up into Yellowstone, over into South Dakota - back down into Colorado Springs to see some friends, and then on out east.

Preparation has been brutal (at least on the part of the vanagon). $1718 last week for a new front differential - $350 this week for replaced hoses and freon.

When/If I arrive : ) , I will try and post some pictures and any experiences worthy of the group.

If anybody has any suggestions for places we should stop along the way, or things I should look over on my syncro before embarking, or any other handy bits of advise - I sure would appreciate it.

Thanks a bunch - And I hope to be chatting with you all again soon,

Cameron
