Neuspeed has one that is done up like Herbie in their catalogue/web page. My wife is on the list for a turbo NB (I'm not parting with my NB!)...she wants a white one so she can have it done up like Herbie...so it's not just VW (or in this case VW dealers).

BTW, there is tradition for this. In 1974 when "Herbie Rides Again" was released, VW was giving away stickers to promote the movie. In the accessory catalogue, they were also selling "Herbie" decal kits, and from what I recall the dealers had Herbie Jr. go-carts for sale. The parts manager at my local dealer still has the fiberglass body. The owner of the dealer he was working for at the time took the go-cart home and chucked the body in the trash...the parts manager rescued the body.
