Subject: A REALLY crazy german!

While looking through the pages of the german yahoo to see if there were anything interesting, there was a headline that caught my eye. Jumping to his page, I find that this guy is driving a type 181(thing) with an Oettinger-prepared waterboxer. The engine is a 2,5 liter, but that was not enough for this guy! He is about to take off completely, so he is starting with a MV type engine(because of the low compression and mild cam) he is going to supercharge it! As he further writes, if the superch. works with the MV engine, he is going to put it on his 2,5 Oettinger instead, and putting it in his 181, a bug or maybe a KG. If you read german: http://www.berlin-bear.de/golf/start-d.html or in english_not finished:-( http://www.berlin-bear.de/golf/start-e.html He is expecting above 160 hp for this application, which will feature an Eaton supercharger from the MB C/SLK 230 KOMPRESSOR There are some pix of the 2,5 sans super while he is removing it from the engine bay if his thing. This is totally awesome!
