   Hey All :
We're taking our '85/'90 Westphalia up to Algonquin Park in Ontario next month, to camp in an area where the thrill is to rent canoes and paddle in to sites along a lakeshore. I have some concerns that the rental canoes, which are rented with foam rubber pieces to protect the tops of cars, may harm the fiberglass camper top. Has anyone here done canoe portage up top? Maybe a wider-base beneath the pads? Appreciate any feedback/advice!
