With all talk of repair expenses I started to check out extended warranty services. One VW dealer had one issued by VW that was approx $1,000 for 72 months and 75,000 miles service. Another VW dealer had one issued through Toyota that is good at "participating" dealers for $750. I just got an add in mail from Royal Warranty Services Inc of Arlington TX that has 72 month 100,000 mile for m$698. . They claim they are a member company of Royal & Sun Alliance USA, Inc. Anybody have any experience with any of these. Any one ever hear of Royal Warranty service. They picked up my name from the Motor Vehicle Dept when I registered my new (& EVC. Thanks for your help. stevek
