Harald - Yeah, but that was just an "act"! You've dealt with FL Coons. Refuse 'em what they want and you have a battle on your hands, like up here in TN!!! I remember the EX & I were camping at Fort Desoto Park, in our '62 VW Kombi, just south of St Petersburg, FL, when I was in college back in '74, and I heard something going through our supplies on the picnic table! Grabbed my flashlight, took inventory and found one large bag of Fritos, one bag of marshmellows and one box of Eggo waffles missing!!! Went back to the Kombi, retrieved my .357 magnum and reconnoitered the entire perimeter, without luck. The next morning, I found the empty packages about 100' from our campsite. Hoped the little bast...s developed one good case of constipation for their deed. Up here in TN, I've sutured many a coon-hound's face who dared to cross paths with coons! They are much larger up here than in FL and more demanding. They remind me of the bears out west I saw on TV which knock out car windows to get to the food-goodies in the parks! If I ever trek out there, I plan on carrying my old M-79 grenade launcher with me, to supplement my .357 magnum! BOB. |
