Hi, My month old to me 87 syncro had a bad vibe. Since I work on the navy's MH-53E helicopter which has 11 driveshafts in all I suspected a driveshaft vibe. So I went and removed the center driveshaft. This vibe was most active at the 40-50mph mark. Then settled out after that. After removing the driveshaft the vibe was all gone. Upon inspection of the item I noticed the rear u-joint was sticking on one axis. Has anyone else had this problem? Has anyone replaced the u-joint since the driveshaft is non-serviceable part? Any other thoughts? Kurt Thomas 87 syncro |
