Odd. I'm not aware of any Dometic's with holes in the combustion chamber. My guess is that these were drilled by some overzealous PO or misguided service tech. The Dometic literature is clear about the need for a tightly sealed combustion system. It's also a safety issue - to prevent CO and/or unburnt propane accumulations within the vehicle. You might want to call Dometic service (219-463-4858) and bounce this one of them.
