There is a down side to supplying your own parts though.  I had a mechanic
put in a new clutch for me that I supplied myself.  He said he would put in
parts I supply but he would not warranty them.  Now this new clutch was one
of those Sachs that were built on a Monday.  Yes, one month later the van
was shuttering and chattering and I was screwed as I had to pay to replace
it.
