Hmm, you do know what the numbers on a tire mean, right? I.E. The first number (aka 185) is the width of the tire in millimeters. The / number is a percentage value (80% is default and not normally displayed) that the sidewall is of the width. Hence a 215/70 tire will have a higher sidewall than a 205/70, even though the percentage value is the same. The last number (14) is the wheel diameter that the tire is for.

The above paragraph does NOT apply to the 27x8.50R14 type designation....
