Subject: Re: Programmable Intermittent Wiper Relay
Comments: To: wesn@eskimo.com, Vanagon@vanagon.com

Wes,

You seem to be getting a lot of feedback about the wiper relay. I gave up on getting it from the clueless parts guy at the dealer. Too many superseeded part revisions & the new ones aren't programmable. I purchased the programmable relay aftermarket. If you p-mail me, I'll dig through my receipts and get you the source (it is also in the archives).

Anyway, that does not resolve your problem. The programmable feature of the relay is activated when you move the wiper lever to the intermittent position. Since this position in your switch is broken, you still will not have any intermittent wiper action. Are you certain that your switch has failed? If your relay current relay failed, then this is the way to go.

Vernon
