Let's wrap up this thread.  Ron of the Bus Depot is an excellent source of
parts and advice, and he's listed as one of the few 'Recommended Vendors' at
http://www.vanagon.com/vendors/


My personal experience with Ron is that he's in this for the VW community, and
supporting his family is a secondary thing.  I've gotten excellent service
from him.  He is swamped because of his excellent service and prices, and it's
a business decision for him to grow or not.


As an aside, there are several excellent list vendors.  If you don't want to
use Ron, check out the URL shown above for a list of recommended vendors.
