Subject: '88 Trans Mount supplier in Canada?
Comments: To: vanagon@vanagon.com
Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

Last year I replaced the trans mount on my '88 Westy by having a rabbit engine mount pressed in after removing the rubber centre. I knew this wouldn't last too long, but it was cheap.

Now, a year and only about 5000km later, it is toast. The dealer wants $212 CDN for this part, and BowWow says they can't get it aftermarket. Any ideas?

ps: for obvious reasons, I'd prefer a Canadian supplier - the current exchange would add about 60% to any US price.

pps: I'm off list, but will check the web archives. If you could, please cc: to my e-mail.

Thanks. ======================== Shawn Wright Computer Systems Manager Shawnigan Lake School 250-743-6240 swright@sls.bc.ca
