I am trying to clarify something. Has anyone out there had the experience of attempting to bring in a left-hand drive car to a right hand drive country? In April I am going to Australia to take an exam for a professional license there, within 2-3 years I am going to move there. Well you all know how I love my 90 GL, and how well it brings along my 5 kids everywhere. Here is my problem. I was told by another newsgroups, from australia, that they have some law that all cars must be right-hand drive, unless it is 50 or > years old. They said they were not sure and did not furnish me with a POC over there to find out. I do not want to ask Volkswagen because..well.. you how we feel about dealing with the dealers, they will try to sell me a EV. (nothing against the EV but I'm hooked on my Vanagon). Even worse they may tray to sell me a Sharren, (a carebear version of the EV).. Does anyone have any ideas? If not, look for my sales post in the future. (oops I shouldn't have said that). Thank you -Tim 90 GL Barnegat, NJ
