>(4) press "flame" button in (click, click, click... light flashes) Chris, The flashing light and click, click, click won't sound familiar to most listees. This feature only appears in '90 & '91 Westys with the Dometic 182B-EGI models (EGI-Electronic Gas Ignition). The rest of the Dometic 182B owners generate the spark manually through the pump switch.

I beleive that if your LED illuminates and stays that way and the spark light stops flashing then your fridge is lit. My fridge makes no burning noise. My 182B-EGI has been acting a bit funny lately. It lights up very easily but the flame dies (the LED goes out and spark indicator starts flashing again) after 10-15 seconds. I then have to run it on battery or 110v for a few minutes to warm it up and the problem disappears. I have also experienced the spark light flashing after the fridge has been running for hours or even days. I remedy this by clicking one of the other mode buttons (either 110V or 12vDC) which stops the electronic ignitor. Overall the fridge has performed wonderfully the last couple of summers. Sounds like your fridge is working fine too. Just make sure the LED stays lit.
