Tim, I scrapped a 1990 CARAT several years ago. Nothing but the bare shell went to the junk yard. If I remember correctly, with EVERYTHING out, you can see that body is set up for both left and right hand drive, if only in that the embossed panels and bumps and stuff are mirrored, what you find on he left, you find on the right.

I wonder if it could be so easy as to drill new holes for the steering column and pedal set, and flipping the steering rack and pinion 180 degrees. I'm guessing you'd need a different dash also.

Any one care to comment on this?? One Question I can think of would be:

* Where is the electrical panel for the right hand drive vehicles, over on the left?? or on the right, implying a different wiring loom.
