hello listees from susan and magnus,
i've made it safely back to pennsylvania where i'm enjoying a short
layover at my parents' home before traveling north to vermont for grad
school. thanks to all of you for your kind words and friendly support
during my 30-day, 9,000+ mile trip.


and now another round of kudos for yet another excellent mechanic i got
from the vanagon list. lehmann's auto in bechtelsville, pa., was able to
squeeze my van in for a last-minute oil change and post-trip once-over.
they found a few things that needed attention, called me and -- get
this-- asked me how much i wanted to spend. i gave them a dollar limit
and tim called me back shortly after with a very comfortable estimate.
and the work was done the same day! so if you're ever in pa. and need
quality vee-dub help, go there!
